Payout: workflow and statuses

This section provides information about possible statuses of payout and its related operations.

Payment statuses

The following table describes the statuses of payout.

Payment status	Description
`error`	There was an error in the initial request, so the payment platform didn't accept the request and didn't start processing the payment. Final status. You can resend the request with the same payment id.
`processing`	Payment is being processed. Intermediate status
`awaiting clarification`	Payment processing is suspended. The payment platform waits for you to submit a request containing additional information. If the payment platform does not receive this request from you within 30 minutes, the status is set to `decline`. Intermediate status
`awaiting retry`	Expecting payout retries. For details, see Payout retries. Intermediate status
`partially_paid_out`	Payment has been partially completed, with the amount split (for details, see Splitting payment amount). Final status
`decline`	Payment was declined. Final status
`success`	Payment was completed successfully. Final status

The following table describes the statuses of a payout operation.

Operation status	Description
`processing`	Operation is being processed. Intermediate status
`awaiting clarification`	Operation processing is suspended. The payment platform waits for you to submit a request containing additional information. If the payment platform does not receive the request from you within 30 minutes, the status is set to `decline`. Intermediate status
